# In-game token $GIM

$GIM is a BEP-20. It is the secondary token of the Nigma metaverse. It won’t be minted in advance, so the only way to mint $GIM is to play the game and interact with in-game systems. This token is used to perform many actions: equipment replication, repair, crafting, and upgrading.

While $NIGMA has a finite supply $GIM has to fight inflation. To this end, many **burn mechanisms** have been implemented, and more will come.
